Hannah West, an outsider artist from Oregon, shares with us her Revelation Collection of paintings. Hannah began drawing at the age of three, but inspiration springing from a deep love of horses gave her talent legs. She worked for twenty years to perfect a photorealistic technique in charcoal that delighted those who commissioned her portraits of their show horses. After a powerful near death experience in September 1992, she returned with a rainbow of color in her hands and a completely new style. Painted between 1992 and 1997, the results are these illustrations of key passages in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
